This nicely appointed contemporary style cottage is nestled on picturesque Duck Lake, across from the very secluded and quiet Duck Lake State Park and within walking distance or a 2 minute drive to Lake Michigan with its magnificent white beaches and sand dunes. Michigan's Adventure Park (Michigan's largest amusement and water park) is only 10 minutes away for a fun family day trip. Whitehall, Michigan is just a few miles away with its quaint homes and shopping.

Duck Lake Cottage

Property type: Single family dwelling located on 100 feet of sandy beach.

Accommodations: Three bedrooms, bath, upscale "cottage" décor. (Sleeps up to 10)

Living Room

Amenities: Full kitchen with microwave, utensils, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer provided. Also included are wireless internet access, phone, linens, washer, dryer, cable television, sun porch, deck, grill, fireplace, and central air conditioning.

Other Amenities: Located on 100 feet of sandy beach with dock and canoe. Great fishing (ice fishing, too!) and swimming. Bring your own boat for sailing or skiing.

Surrounding Attractions and Special Events: Only minutes away from Duck Lake State Park and Michigan's Adventure Amusement Park. Nearby is the White Lake Lighthouse and Museum. Other attractions are the Muskegon Museum of Art, the USS Silversides (restored WW II submarine), the Muskegon, Hoffmaster, Grand Haven and Silver Lake State Parks, Dune Rides, the Muskegon Summer Celebration, the Coast Guard Festival, the Muskegon Air Fair, the Michigan Irish Music Festival, White Lake, the World's Largest Weathervane, Muskegon County Historical Museum, the Hart-Montague Bicycle Trail and Muskegon State Park's Winter Sports Complex. Rates: $1,400 per week during season (Memorial Day to Labor Day). "Off season" rate is $800 per week. Ask about weekend rates for off season. State and local taxes are additional.
Reservations: Reservations are recommended at least one month in advance. Click on our Availibility Calendar link for information about available dates. You may click on our Contact Us link if you have any additional questions about reservations.

Minimum Stay: During the summer season, the minimum stay is 7 nights. Check-in is at 3pm on Saturday and check out is at 11 am on the following Saturday. During off season a minimum two-night stay is required and rates vary.

Deposit and Payment: A $500 deposit is required per weekly reservation. A personal check, VISA or Master Card will be accepted.
Restrictions: No smoking and no pets.

Best Kept Secrets: The Muskegon State Park Winter Sports Complex with Luge and lighted cross country skiing, the White Lake Lighthouse and Museum and the area's super golf and antique shopping.

Recommended Local Eatery: The Red Rooster Tavern is located five minutes away with lunch and dinner daily. Try the lake perch. Entertainment generally on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
